About the Course

The Grade 12 Physics course is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of advanced physics concepts, emphasizing their applications in science, technology, and everyday life. This curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical examples to prepare students for higher education and careers in science and engineering fields.

The course explores the fundamental principles of physics through five major thematic units: the application of physics in various scientific and technological fields; two-dimensional motion including projectile and rotational dynamics; fluid mechanics and its real-world applications; electromagnetism and its role in modern technology; and the basics of electronics, which underpin contemporary digital devices. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to appreciate physics as a foundational science that connects with chemistry, biology, astronomy, and engineering, highlighting interdisciplinary collaboration.

By the end of the course, students will have developed critical analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of how physics principles govern natural phenomena and technological innovations. The curriculum also fosters awareness of safety considerations in physics applications and nurtures scientific curiosity and innovation.
