The HaHu Muya Soft Skills training addresses this growing need by offering a structured and targeted approach to soft skill development. The program is built on six core components, each focusing on a specific area of soft skills that are in high demand across various industries. These components are carefully crafted to provide practical knowledge and hands-on experience, ensuring that participants can immediately apply what they learn in real-world scenarios.
Trainee Qualification Requirements and Prerequisites
- Participants should have at least a basic proficiency in English. Trainees should be able to understand and communicate in English at a basic level, sufficient for following instructions, participating in discussions, and completing assignments. You don't need to be fluent, but you should be comfortable reading and writing simple English texts.
- Basic understanding of workplace dynamics: Trainees should have a foundational knowledge of how workplaces function, including basic concepts such as teamwork, communication, and role responsibilities. You don't need extensive experience, but you should be familiar with common workplace interactions and expectations.
- Interest in personal and professional development: Motivation is key to successful learning. Participants who are eager to grow will be more engaged, actively participate in activities, and make the most of the resources provided. This interest will also help sustain their involvement throughout the program.
Training Delivery
The training will be delivered using a blended class format, combining:-
- A lead instructor will introduce key concepts and best practices.
- Practical exercises to apply learnings utilizing the tools and resources availed by HaHuJobs
- Group Discussions to analyze real-world scenarios and Practical assignments.
- Networking sessions.
Total Duration: One and half months with 15 Classes each with 2hr contact hours
Resources provided: Exercise Book, flip chart, and Marker, with Andragogy (Adult Learning system)
Training Level
The program can delve into more complex and nuanced topics by positioning the training at an intermediate level. The training program is designed to build on foundational knowledge and skills that participants may already possess. It is a mid-level training tailored to individuals who have some experience or understanding of the workplace and are looking to develop their competencies further.
Lesson Activities
- Interactive lectures: Practical insights, industry reports, and thought leader articles to spark discussions and conversation.
- Practical assignments: Individual take-home or in-class assignments offered to trainees to solidify their understanding of the concepts and theories thoughts.
- Group Discussion: Challenging students to develop their soft skills. To enable the application of their understanding and learn to work in collaboration.
- Qualification and skills assessments: Periodic digital assessments through the HaHuJobs assessment to qualify trainees for certification and measure their understanding levels.

The HaHu Muya Soft Skill Essentials training is designed as a comprehensive initiative aimed at equipping participants with the essential soft skills required for success in today’s dynamic and competitive job market. The program focuses on developing a set of interpersonal and professional skills that are crucial for effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and career advancement. It aims to Equip participants with the ability to communicate effectively, build meaningful professional connections, solve problems critically, work collaboratively in teams, plan their careers strategically, and understand essential labor laws and workplace professionalism.

Training Subject Areas
Communication for Impact: In this component, we are going to focus on first, effective communication. You will develop the ability to convey messages confidently through effective verbal and non-verbal communication, structure and deliver persuasive presentations, and engage in active listening to foster meaningful interactions. You will also learn to provide constructive, specific feedback, contributing to a collaborative and thriving communication environment.
- Building Meaningful Connections: This component will focus on networking strategies. You will acquire skills in networking strategies and tools, including identifying key industry contacts, leveraging LinkedIn, and attending events to expand your professional circle. You will learn to build and maintain relationships through consistent engagement and effective communication and create a compelling LinkedIn profile to enhance your attractiveness to potential employers and collaborators.
- Problem Solving: As a second component, Analytical thinking, you will gain proficiency in analytical thinking by breaking down complex problems and examining them thoroughly. You will learn creative problem-solving techniques to discover innovative solutions and apply decision-making strategies that blend logical analysis with intuition, ensuring that solutions are practical and innovative.
- Team Building: Thirdly, you will understand how to utilize team members' strengths effectively, develop conflict resolution skills to address disagreements constructively, and foster trust and collaboration through open communication and mutual respect. You will learn to create a cohesive team dynamic that drives harmonious work towards common objectives.
- Career Development Planning: Before the last component, you will be equipped to set clear, achievable career goals and map out paths to achieve them. You will identify growth opportunities by assessing skills and market trends, engage in continuous learning and development, and implement a structured approach to career progression and personal growth.
- Professionalism & Labor Law: Lastly, you will learn to maintain high standards of professionalism and workplace ethics, understand the basics of communication and labor law, and navigate employment contracts, dispute resolution, and workplace rights. This will contribute to fostering a respectful, legally compliant, and ethically sound work environment.
Assessment and Evaluation
Successful training thrives on challenges and practical applications of the principles taught in each session. Hence trainees will be assessed through a combination of methods, including:
- Assignments: Practical exercises with group discussions, peer and facilitator feedback on presentations, and group work. A Final project to develop a personal career development plan integrating the learned skills.
- Evaluation: Trainees' evaluation will be measured by their participation and engagement during sessions. Quality and practicality of assignments and submission of final project, with a demonstrable improvement of their soft skills through role-plays.
